FOREVER LIKE RED+ THE PLAUDITS + ONE DOLLAR PEEP SHOW + NOT MY DAY
Wed 14th March - Oxford Zodiac downstairs
One Dollar Peep Show are currently promoting their debut album 'Showreel', released on the Weird City Electric Company label. Surely the only band to have been compared to both Portishead and the B52's in the same review, 1DPS have recently been garnering rave reviews for their occasional live performances. Ranging from brooding to euphoric, their sound mixes electronics and live instruments in a way that is utterly unlike new rave- and all the better for it.

PLAYMUSIC DEMO OF THE MONTH FEB '07
The Plauditsare one of Oxford's most exciting new bands. Their hyperactive frontman, known simply as 'J', certainly knows how to whip a crowd into a frenzy, having previously fronted Red Star Cycle and The Cliffhangers. They will be using this gig to launch their excellent debut E.P.
